I am happy to say I haven’t experienced any skin irritation while using this product. It does have a slight scent, but it's not unpleasant. It's simple to spray on as needed. If you are looking for something more substantial than just water, this will work.
I am very happy with this facial spray. It feels refreshing on the skin and has been easy to add into my daily routine. The mist is fine and even, so it applies nicely without soaking the face or wasting product.What I like most is how calming it feels, especially on days when my skin looks a little red or irritated. It leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and more balanced after use. It dries quickly and does not leave behind any sticky residue, which is a big plus.The formula feels gentle and lightweight. It layers well with the rest of my skincare products and did not feel harsh in my experience. I also appreciate that it can be used throughout the day whenever my skin needs a quick refresh.The bottle size is generous for the price, and the packaging feels well made. I love hypochlorous acid to soothe eczema and skin irritation and purify/clarify the skin (and I’ve also heard it helps with acne, which makes sense because it helps to gently kill bacteria on our skin). This spray also has some other ingredients like aloe to make it extra soothing, which I like. It helped clear up some irritation I had below my eye recently (I believe the irritation was caused by accidentally using two products with retinol on my undereyes) in just a day or so; one of the other things I like about HOCl is it can be used around the eyes without burning or drying out my eyes. It’s also helped soothe and combat some of the eczema I’ve been having since the weather here has been drastically changing back and forth. I also use it like a toner mist when my skin is stressed (and it works great before makeup too). That Tower28 rescue mist that went viral several years ago is hypochlorous acid so if you liked that product, you’ll most likely enjoy this one too. This is also a good value; the bottle is large and I expect it’ll last me a long time too. It also comes out as a very fine mist (no heavy water droplets) so I’ve even used it after doing my makeup when my skin has been upset and it didn’t mess my makeup up. I highly recommend!
