Burned immediately on application
I really wanted to like this because I’ve had great experiences with other hypochlorous acid sprays. They’re usually incredibly gentle and calming. I use them after sun exposure, if my skin is irritated, they are normally soothing and so helpful.This one was not. It burned immediately on application. It felt like I had sprayed acid on my face. I had to run to wash it off. I didn’t even think to test it on a smaller area unfortunately as I’m so familiar with this from other companies. Luckily I had another bottle from a different company and that and a lot of gentle moisturizer helped calm my face down.My skin is somewhat sensitive due to tretinoin use, but I’ve never reacted like this to other HOCl products. Those typically feel like nothing at all. Almost like refreshing water.Because of that, I think this may come down to the formulation. It contains additional ingredients beyond the usual simple HOCl + water + salt, and that may not agree with sensitive skin.I would definitely recommend patch testing before using this on your face! As someone who tests hundreds of products a year through the vine program, it’s super rare I get such a bad reaction. I hate giving bad reviews but this reaction was not for the faint of heart!

Refreshing and calming spray
I have tried many different versions of hypochlorous acid relief products and I really like this one a lot. The ingredient list is great and doesn’t have anything that irritates my sensitive skin. It is very refreshing to use after a workout or what have you. It calms the skin and I even like to use it as a toner before applying serums. I am so happy that they didn’t include any added fragrance because it is good as it is. I really like this spray and will consider re-ordering it when I run out.
